Provide speech-language therapy services in a K-12 school setting to support student communication needs. This contract position is located in Joliet, IL, offering 15 hours per week onsite. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through the current school year, with an end date of 5/15/26.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across grades K-12
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology License with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience providing SLP services in schools, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Ability to work onsite for the required weekly hours
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
